What does Spring mean to you? For most of us it means we get to spend more of our waking hours in daylight while to others it just means a loss of an hour of sleep time. To homeowners it means time to get the yard in order after winter. If that is the case with you be careful how you go about your spring clean up. If you have been physically inactive during the cold months don’t expect to blitz the yard work over one weekend without feeling the wrath of inactivity. Your muscles will be sore, your back will ache and your stamina, well let’s just say it needs more working on then your yard. But it is not too late to right the ship?

Before engaging in hard labor do some stretching. Remember to bend at the knees if picking up heavy limbs off the lawn is in order. Oh you’ll still feel sore. So what are you going to do about it? Maybe you should think of getting your body in shape too. Think of it as a body spring clean up. Find yourself a personal trainer a prepare to exercise correctly so not to cause any injury to yourself. Exercise will make yard work more enjoyable and your back will be less achy.
